I made the comment once in a discussion about taxes where I said - tax me. I should be taxed. I make too much money. Should I be ashamed of my success? I am not. I worked hard to get where I am. My blue collar parents drove home the importance of education and hard work. Two degrees from top schools, service to my country, and a lot of personal and physical risks. I came out of it with a skill set that is rarefied and highly valued in certain industries. Don't try to smear me with your Glenn Beck attacks. Am I an elitist because I make more money than you?

It cracks me up that you think I could be a journalist and be in the top 5% of income earners. That's laughable. Listen to yourself. But I guess inconsistencies have never bothered you before so why should they now?

I am a paranoid kind of person. My life experience has taught me that sharing the wrong information can get you in trouble. I am part of a small LLC that provides security auditing and due diligence services, mostly for private equity investment funds / partners. I have never worked for the CIA or any other clandestine services, and never will.
