LetsSeeYa, I covered up the pot added some nutes ( 20-20-20 ) 3 days ago and the soil has dried up yet for me to repot, is that normal ? And as if the nutes hasn't kicked in... Making nearly all of the leafs tips turn yellow...Quote:

Sorry for hassling you with all these questions but first time grower...
Its not going to die, they can take a lot of abuse at this time, but ya want to stabilize her before to long. Just wait till the soil is dry, i wrote up a ''how to re pot'' in here so maybe read it. But when ya do re pot it make sure the soil has good drainage. Plus make sure there are plenty of holes in the bottom of the pot, because its not to keep the soil moist, but to drain water as you feed it. Did you start the ferts at 1/4 strength? If not ya might have some nute burn, but just back off on the ferts and give water after you re pot. Then when the plant looks healthy start ferts again, but at 1/4 of the recommended amount to get your plant used to it. Then add more as your looks better and the yellow tips are gone.Quote:

So could be lack of drainage or to much ferts. To fix it, id re pot and letting it look almost dead with leaves all droopy will not kill it. See the before pic in the how to thread i made, that plant was bone dry man. And make sure you got the drainage i was talking about, then use plain water for a week and il bet she will look better.
As far as strain your never going to know that for sure in less you ordered from a seed bank. But there is two types of cannabis, which is Indica and sativa so your going to have a mix of the two. Could be 80%-20% Indica-sativa or the other way. And depends on just how they were bread, so you will never know. Just goggle the 2 and you will understand or look at a seed bank will also help you see the differences. Indica will grow shorter and flower a bit more early and sativa will be taller and takes a bit longer for it to finish. Really dosnt matter im sure if you just take care of her she will reward ya good:jointsmile:Quote:

google "nutrient burn" or "nutrient deficiency". Hell google "growing marijuana tips". spend some thime in the FAQ. I found that for basic things I would find my answers fastest by doing this. . . .and indulging. Dont get me wrong, it dosent hurt to ask and thats one reason why the forum is here; so by all means!! Just puttin it out there
Good Luck

I am going to get a new pot as soon as I can so I can re pot it, I read your thread about re potting without stress so I can guess I will follow the instructions, I was quite surprised to see that in 2h15 min the leaves weren't droopy anymore so I guess my plant is root bound. Ill keep you updated if your interested...Quote:

And for the Perlite issue, I ordered 500g and I am getting it on Monday. So will I be able to flush the perlite with water or will I have to re-transplant to mix the perlite with the soil ?
Cheers :rasta:
You will be fine man, but yeah you mix your soil with the perlite. About 25% to 75% will give you great drainage. You will luv this stuff, but iv heard its not good to breath in the dust so id run water through it or maybe ware a mask. Its great for your soil. And yes it was 2;45 after i re potted that plant. I even have one after 45 min. that looks amassing, but wanted to show the better pic.Quote:

You might just see how she does and use the perlite mix on the next re pot. Its good to fill a pot with roots then put in a different pot, then just keep putting your plant in bigger pots. It will grow faster and will be healthy.
So hows she looking?
:rasta:
Man, the leaves are still droopy and the soil is pretty muddy ( I watered 2 days ago) so I guess you were right from the first post, I have a PERLITE issue, the drainage is pretty bad which is making my plant weak. I should have listened from the beginning, but first grow and a lot of mistakes at least I am learning... :jointsmile:Quote:

U should give agricultural courses.
Thanks.
when adding the perlite what ever amount of soil it takes to fill your pot with when you do a re pot then just make 25% of that soil perlite and you will be good so you end up with 25% perlite 75% soil
