it really looks like u over water it alot let it dry out for week tilll u can stick ur finger in the soil about a 1/2 inch and its dry then water
I WAS ONLY WATERING EVERY THREE TO FOUR DAYS USING A SOIL WATER METER AND FINGER
I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT IVE GOT A SMALL PLANT IN A BIG BUCKET SO I THINK ITS HOLDING TOO MUCH WATER PLUS THEIR IS TOO MUCH ROOT GROWTH, CAUSE WHEN I TRANSPLANTED THE ROOTS WERE REALLLY LONG
man, they are looking really bad i think im going to lose my big one.
ok what kinda soil u using man? definetly look like a water problem but i see u figured that out. just keep checking the moisture and ur ph. ur plant might have locked up depending on what kinda and how much nutes u using. and how far is ur lights from ur plants?
i have a 400w hps bulb about 15in from the top. I recently transplanted and it looks worse than it ever has. So i am germinating more seeds i think i might start over .
we shall see
I want to get fox farm ocean forest but cant afford to get it shipped were i live, so i ahve been reading of a soil mix i can use
I was using Fox Farm Trio 1/4 to 1/2 strength
Was going to increase strength of nutes but tried to fix a soil prob
I curently have them in perlite, vermiculite to earthworm castings
2:1:1 with gravel in bottom of soil (give or take- looks alot better than it did, not as heavy)
took it out of the big bucket because i read somewhere that the smaller the plant and the bigger the bucket really promotes slow growth due to the root wanting to grow straight down, but when i transplanted the tap root was really long.
Am i making this harder than it really is or what.
my first grow and being who i am i just rushed right in without getting my shit together
I'd wait until I fixed my soil problem before using more seeds.
I just went through this cheap soil and overwatering stuff and I finally think I am going in the right direction.
Go get a $10 moisture probe for the soil and that will help you greatly.
i have one, now hong long do i wait to rewater
HOW DRY ON THE METER DO I WAIT TO REWATER, BONE DRY?
much thanks for helping a brother out!
I would say water this one.
Probe a few places and at different levels just to make sure it is all dry and then water with the 6.7 water and no nutes until they come back.
eatbay just gave u the best dvice so far. do the "lift the pot" method and try to keep the same weight after u find the right spot for watering, works almost everytime good luucka:thumbsup:
