There is no reasonable cause to come back with a warrant. Just because you don't let them inside and search, doesn't mean shit. It's your place of dwelling, you were minding your own business, and nothing you did was warranted for a search.
In the eyes of the law, your expectation to privacy is one that society is prepared to recognize as reasonable, and nothing you did was unreasonable.
I recommend you get a copy of the book, Marinuana Law by Richard Glen Boire. It explains in great detail how to react and what to expect in your situation. You did exactly what should've been done.:thumbsup:
they have no reason to enter in the house without a warrant and they can grill you all they want....all you have to do is answer them with the info about the 911 call. they would have to obtain the warrant from a judge and have to have probable cause. in the article below the police obtained the warrant and then were able to seize things.
