Help end the reefer madness in South Carolina

The only drug related offenses would be due solely on the fact that Marijuana is illegal. The correlation of Marijuana use and crime is completely bogus, millions of people smoke it and out of those millions no sh** some of them commit serious crimes. Billions of people eat breakfast in the morning and out of those billions some of them happen to also commit murder, rape, robbery, etc. I guess lets just outlaw breakfast then, and while we are at it lets outlaw breathing too.

The real catch 22 here is that to support legalization is almost like coming out of the closet.

My 80 year old parents, employer, co-workers, parish members, etc... don't know that I've been a heavy smoker for 25 years.

So aside from sending emails and letters... it's hard for most of us to stand up and scream for action. Hence the 'catch'

I'd love to hear a solution for this dilemma.
