6 weeks into flower pics. Now a question I had about it was that I do not know if this is an 8 week or 12 week strain, should I just start flushing and harvest at 8 or keep an eye on the calyxes and flush when they start to turn brown/orange?

I know about the trichome color and all, but should I start flushing and hope that the trichomes will be right? If it needs longer than the 8 weeks can I just keep it in the low PPM water?
bump
I usually flush after most of the trichomes have become cloudy for indica dom. and when they're all cloudy for sativa dom.Quote:

I understand the part about the trichomes having to be properly matured. Flushing takes 2 weeks right? So based off that I have to time the end of the flush with then the trichomes will be ready. How to time it right is my true question, and also if I don't time it right do I just keep flushing until they are ready? I don't plan on using any flushing aids like flora kleen, just an extremely weak nutrient solution. Tapering down as time goes.
