Does this pipe need a screen i cant tell

i wouldnt reccomend metal screens in a glass pipe...kinda kills the whole point of using glass....just my opinion, whatever works. toke on.

If he can't taste it, i'd use it. Conserves slightly more weed I suppose. Glass screens are awesome though, as they're easy to clean. I've used em in metal bowls even.
