thanks for all the posts back. There growing nice not sure sure about the WW it seems really stunted and not growing well. ill post more pics later today.
Another question i have is about nutrients. i have the humboldt organic grow and bloom but also have the forxfarms grow big nutrient. which do you think would work better the humboldt grow and foxfarm grow? ive already been using the humboldt but havent seen anyone post about results from it. has anyone had good results with the foxfarm and recommend to just use that instead?
one more question. i use 24/7 lighting does this make a difference in how fast they grow? should i be using 20/4 18/6? what do you think. i know its a low watt and wont cost much to run. what do you guys think?
I say keep them in 24/7. Florescent bulbs are blinking on and off too fast for our eyes to see, but in reality they are only emitting photons half of the time. You have a killer florescent fixture, but those plants still benefit from all the light they can get without a high intensity source.
edit: I can't help you with the nutes though, as I'm new to using proper fertilizer myself.
Yea hey thanks guys everything's doing well. heres some more pics
does anyone know whats wrong in the 2nd picture with that leaf? its dipped down and has brownish spots all over it and looks about dead? any ideas of whats going on?
heres some more pics of the ladies growing strong
Plants are looking good
Maybe you spilled some nutrients on that one leaf? As long as the new growth looks healthy it shouldn't be anything to worry about.
As for the nutes, stick with one brand and don't mix them. If you decide to use Fox Farm, you will need 3 different ones, check their website for the feeding schedule. Also the FF nutes tend to be a little strong, you could dilute them to half strength and feed twice per week instead of once at full dose.
Happy growing
sounds good big topp
so 2 things now. 1 its odviously not bad but i was looking at new growth on the bigger plant of the pictures and its got 9 leaves as opposed to 7? its probably normal and the plants doing fine but what causes this?
2nd i pulled up that pot today and looked underneath and theres roots appearing out of the bottem of my pot. do these short and bushy plants need extra room for there plants to grow? they are all in about 1.5-2 gallon pots cant remember exactly
Well iv seen plant with 11 before, so 9 isn't a big deal. Its probably a genetic thing in the seed, but nothing to worry about. As far as roots growing out from the bottom, i wouldn't be surprised, because they are growing very fast IMO. If i were you i would keep an eye on them, because your going to need to transplant at some point. While there in veg and you see new growth your ok, but i would re pot before you flower:thumbsup:Quote:
