Conversion bulb? I thought the special ballasts could run either standard bulb.
Apparently I am unaware of the whole situation. I am a somewhat experienced grower, but I've never worked with any 'switchable' lighting systems like that.
Perhaps someone with more experience than I can tell us just how that system, in its various configurations, is different from non-switchable hardware. I won't lie; I've considered buying one but never studied up on how they really differ. Is this kind of catastrophic bulb failure more likely with this setup?
Well digital ballast equal switchable setup. as long as the mogul base type fits with the rated bulb it will work. Digital has its ups and downs I am sure but I am digging them for now. They run cooler then traditional ones and supposedly are better for the life of the bulb.
my bad there is a 600w MH but it's not a straight 600w MH it's a conversion bulb i was thinking a straight up 600w MH bulb cause i know for a fact they dont make them but thanx cause i learned something new need that info cause my buddy be having watch his hydro store dont wanna look stupid when some one ask
