Short Answer: No, I do not own one, but I believe in the right to bear arms (yes, even guns). However, I believe that irresponsible people do not deserve this right, and that this right can be revoked, and therefore that the second amendment should be modified to include such provisions.
And don't ask me to define "irresponsible people" in legal terms, because if I could, I would be Senator Bloke, but for the purpose of argument, I'd say that this definition would include those people which you've identified as morons. I'm curious if you think said morons should not have this right as well, which would in turn also make you agree that the second amendment is not set in stone. To which I would continue a line of questions probing into how flexible the laws indeed are. Hmm.

I know he didn't get it from a store. My point was that there's such a gun obsession over there that if that culture didnt exist, you would get that. Even armed police here are not supposed to take their guns home. You know - its dangerous?

We're from different cultures, I suppose. I've never heard anyone say "Dude, you don't have a GUN?! I've had a gun since..." around here. People have guns, sure, but it isn't like the telephone, where people are shocked if you don't have one.
