The tents that I am using are made by Sun Hut. So far they are working great. I have one set up for Veg and one set up for Flowering so that I can just constantly rotate them from one tent to the next, They leak absolutly no light and have plenty of openings to run all your chords out and let air circulate. All the openings and the ziper have flaps over them so that no light gets out. I have a 4" inline fan with a charcol filter just sitting inside the tent and so far the temp and humidty have been great and the smell is pretty well controled with the filter. I also live at the beach so the temp is pretty mild.Quote:

 Thanks for info, been lookin at the 4x4 Sunhut at the local Hydro Store might be worth a try...Will be taggin along to see how this finishes
I know that this might be a totally stupid question but if plants need all these different color lights to grow better has anybody ever used Christmas lights or party lights or anything like that that would addd tons of color light? Or are they not at all the same kind of light? Just a thought I had while udjusting the PH of my water a couple of minutes ago.
Also I am sure most of you know but instead of buying PH up and PH down you can use lemon juice to bring the PH down and baking soda, or just more water to bring the PH up. I have 6 milk gallon containers that I use to water and about 8 drops per gallon brings the PH right to a perfect level.
Lights are based on Color Spectrums and Wavelengths, if im correct and i would think that christmas lights and party lights would be like using a black light and have no useful artificial light... ex: halogen and mercury bulbs ..But i would get a response from a veteran before taking my word lol
Boy, your plants are looking fine, Bub!
You want to use the recommended types of lights, cfls, florescents, LEDs and better yet, HIDs (metal halide and high pressure sodium). No incandescent lights, they are inefficient at creating light useful for plant growth.

Today is the big day. Switched my lights to 12 and 12 to start Flowering. Just went and bought the Fox Farm Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom. Any advice for this transition into the flowering cycle? Have any of you ever used "Gravity" or any other flower hardener? Also, have any of you ever used Voodoo Juice or any other root exceler? How important are the root excelerators?
