And Dreadscale,
If there is no mmj card in Washington..Why is thcf handing them out like brochures?...state mmj cards...yep..
Have people been released from jail because of the cards? yes. Court charges dropped, uh huh..
I bet they would even give one to you my friend.:)
In Washington, there is no need for a MMJ Card. As defined in the law you need only proper documentation.Quote:

(5) ??Valid documentation? means:
(a) A statement signed by a qualifying patient??s physician,
or a copy of the qualifying patient??s pertinent
medical records, which states that, in the physician??s
professional opinion, the potential benefits of the
medical use of marijuana would likely outweigh the
health risks for a particular qualifying patient; and
(b) Proof of identity such as a Washington state driver??s
license or identicard, as defined in RCW
46.20.035.[1999 c 2 ? 6 (Initiative Measure No. 692,
approved November 3, 1998).]

My wife is a patient of THCF and she has proper documentation but no CARD, also I don't qualify for a recommendation .
Have you seen a Washington State MMJ CARD? I didn't think so :)

A THCF MMJ card is not a state card. It is a THCF card.
Im not saying the THCF card is not valid documentation of a recomendation.
Im saying the state doesn't require one, and does not issue one.
Below are quotes fron the DOH, and a link to that info.
Do I have to register with or obtain a card from the state?
No. If you are a qualifying patient with a written recommendation from your doctor, that?s all you need.
The clinic I went to says I have to purchase a card or permit from them. Is this true?
No. There are groups or clinics in Washington that may charge a fee for you to see a doctor, but you are not required to visit a certain clinic or join an organization to get a medical marijuana recommendation from a doctor.

Have a Good one ! :hippy:
It amazes me how information gets garbled after it is repeated numerous times...
The STATE does not have or issue a card. CA, OR, probably others, have cards issued by the state (Like a drivers license)
WA has at least 3 (Doc in a box) companies who issue Authorizations. As a service to their customers, they issue an ID card. This is just a handy version of your Authorization and has no more or less significance than having your full sized authorization handy.
As far as the person who stated that they didn't understand the mandate to grow your own or have a caregiver and the caregiver can't smoke.
This is how our law was written to serve PATIENTS and not greedy "Compassion Clubs" The truth is that growing for your self is not as hard as people make it out to be, and is exponentially more rewarding.
Thank you zionslion, your exactly on point with what you posted. I have the same from sentry medical, a card from that company just like THCF is now doing. I would like to remind everyone here about THCF, they are in some hot water selling services in Wa. w/o the proper licensing under the corp. practice of medicine doctrine, please look it up for yourself, paul stanford as the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MUST BE A LICENSED DOCTOR IN WASHINGTON STATE. I am only informing people for protection, not because I want to start any panic or have them go to sentry or elsewhere. I would be remiss if I didn't warn my fellow patients of this illegal activity. I am also a patient of THCF & have been for 10 years and must go to trial because of this....PLEASE LEGALLY PROTECT YOURSELF......
I thought I was, until I was arrested with approx. an oz. and an open-ended authorization paul said was good for life... now he say's I must pay a foundation in Washington for more services. In Washington, a foundation under a 501 (c) 3 must give free medical services per the doctrine...although I have never ever seen Dr. Orvald in Wa. State...again, PLEASE LEGALLY PROTECT YOURSELF.
Sincerely, james sr.
I am sure the AG's office would love to shut down THCF,considering the conservative bastard that runs the open government farce,no longer can use it is still illegal federally excuse. You support those guys?????
What side are you on... for agencies????The movement leader had a habit of calling the FBI too.
Thank you for stopping this sillyness. I do appreciate and ask that I don't get banned for attempting to be informative to the public.
We will have a dispensary in Washington, once the kinks get worked out.
