i also worked for the govt (USMC). i have been to iraq, although not officially during a time of war. my unit got called up on 72-hour notice twice just to get orders to stand down agian.

from what i read today the health-care bill in the senate is dead and the only way one will go through (with republican support, not that they need it, although it appears that dems do) will lack a public option. so what "meat" would such a bill have? just the ability to fine and put people in jail that don't get healthcare? i find the inflated number of 46 million to be funny because half of those people weren't counted when the president gave his initial speech about health care in july. just goes to show how much our economy has "rebounded"! also, there is no mention of how many of those people CHOOSE not to carry health care. those numbers aren't reported either.

i've tried to point out time and again how in-efficient that govt is at running the post office (not that it needs to be pointed at), to just get scourned. or i get a response like "what does the post office have to do with it?" well seeing as how the post office looses billions, i'd say a lot. they loose billions when they have EVERY advantage (written in laws) to help them out. then you have private companies, that have every disadvantage (including those laws) yet still turn a profit.

people support a bill that will fine you up to $3,800 dollars and possibly put you in jail for not carrying insurance, hence the change to the tax code. that makes a shit-ton of sense considering people that make $8/hr already can't afford health care. good plan. then, we come to the CHOICE part. you know, one of those essential freedoms. yet we have no choice.

the revolution is getting closer and closer.

annual flu deaths are estimated to be between 1/4 and 1/2 a million people a year world wide. each and every year, hundreds of thousands of people are killed by the regular old flu or its complications and we are supposed to be scared into accepting tightened restrictions because the powers that be are labeling h1n1 as a super-bug. schools closed, businesses and government agencies threatened with the same, and none of it anything more than an illusion. i do hope it is nothing more than my paranoia or that government realizes that even the ignorant masses aren't quite that gullible, but i've learned to take nothing for granted. i am waiting patiently for some petty bureaucrat to come up with the idea of mandatory flu shots, but i doubt even the lemmings of the left would put up with such a blatant denial of individual liberty.

The globalist world elites don't have to kill tons of people with the H1N1 weaponized virus. They'll kill some. Or they might kill a lot. It depends if they can package it as something palatable to the public. And they'll keep killing babies with abortion in the U.S. We're up to 50 million deaths there. They'll vaccinate kids with the battery of shots, accumulating enough mercury in their little brains to cause autism. Just look at all the stories of They'll dumb people down with the sodium fluoride in the water, which causes all sorts of cancer. They'll cull the population with mercury in high fructose corn syrup foods. Mercury isn't even part of the process of making high fructose corn syrup, and recently 50% of products containing it had mercury also:

And they'll get people that are "health conscious" and substitute the corn syrup with aspertame. Which by the way, breaks down into phenylalanine- cancer food:

They don't have to kill everyone at once and in the same way, but as their boldness increases, they'll sell it to the public as the new norm.

I have to thank you, cptcannabis, for all the helpful information you've posted. Not only in this thread, but in previous threads on the site. you are doing a great service to humanity, even though I hope/wish we were all wrong about this.

i appreciate the experience and calculated thought processes that you offer and hope you can continue to do so as the situations arise.

although, I am really getting tired from thinking about all this and i'm sure my family is tired of hearing about it. it's keeping me up at night, for real. i guess what i'm getting at, and this goes to everyone on here, is thanks for not being afraid to talk about the elephant in the room. there is a majority of people that would rather keep their heads down and continue on with their happy lives, as if...sorry for the rant haven't taken my meds yet :)
