To the post that said lacing weed costs a lot of money, not true. Sure if you're lacing it with coke and stuff, but a lot of times idiots will spray weed with common household cleaners and stuff like that. In college a friend of mine bought some schwag from this scheisty friend of a friend of a friend and it tasted like chemicals hard. We didn't pass out or anything, but we could taste a chemical taste when we smoked it and it gave us bad headaches, and my friend threw up. We threw the rest of the herb away and never talked to the guy again.
Unfortunately due to the ignorance of our government officials and the majority of the public and their unwillingness to legalize and regulate this incredible plant, people stand to get cannabis that has been laced or sprayed with harmful chemicals every now and then. In my opinion, this is all the more reason to grow your own.
Khaza, I actually had something very similar happen to me, when I smoked a couple bowls and felt really weird. I did have the same kind of sensation that something was not at all right and was worried I might be dying or something. I didn't want to slip off into sleep either, because my pulse was so low, I was afraid I might just die. And this was from bud from my own garden, grown organically, so it wasn't chemicals or anything like that. Sometimes if I smoke too much, I'll get really pale and have to go lie down. I'll also get phantom pains sometimes like someone is crushing my head or ramming something into my ears or twisting my head into a knot and weird crap like that. Kinda disturbing really....
Smoking WEEDS gives you feeling of anxiety!
â??Anxiety is love's greatest killer. It makes others feel as you might when a drowning man holds on to you. You want to save him, but you know he will strangle you with his panic.â?
â??Anxiety is the rust of life, destroying its brightness and weakening its power. A childlike and abiding trust in Providence is its best preventive and remedy.â?

I recently smoked some of my prematured buds from trimming.
I took just one bowl from a glass pipe and about 70 or 80 minutes later I felt my guts turning and hurting. After the 3rd wave hits I dropped down on the booth table (I was in a restaurant) and cold sweat starts running. I got motion sickness and I could barely manage myself. It took me a while to struggle to the restroom and then the diaherra starts flowing (thank God I've made it) and still sweating and felt extremely cold.
If it's caused by weed I wonder was it because the pesticide I've used to kill off bugs during flowering phase? It's 99% petroleum oil and I spray them from a bottle for 3 days. I havn't gotten any more bug problem for the next 6 weeks.
I have had similar experiences. I quit for a few months, about 2 weeks into quitting I started feeling high at random times, then I would lose sense of where my body was in space and time. I would think lifting something, say a cup, would take a certain amount of strength, but sometimes I would apply wayyy to much, or not enough. At one point I felt like my whole body was suspended and my vision had a strange sepia tint to it. I have heard of sensitive people developing allergies to cannabis if used to frequently. I think this is it. I used to smoke about a half eighter every day, started having anxiety issues every time I would smoke. I quit for 3 years, then started again, slowly, until I built up to daily smoking after about a year, than the anxiety, etc came again. I cannot say what is happening with these experiences, but the message for me is usually "It's time to stop for a while"
During my research of this incredible plant, I've seen reports of certain strains that cause anxiety in sensetive users, I've experienced some of these episodes myself. I think some were directly related to the strain, and also to my mindset before smoking. Sometimes I think, if you're smoking to relieve stress, it can intensify your state of mind, and cause anxiety. I of course am no doctor, I just speak on my personal experiences. Either way, it sucks that this happened, and I hope it's not a regular thing for you.
It was the strain, SATIVA. Indica don't do ya like that.
The same thing happened to my friend one time. We smoked about 3 blunts and he just started getting dizzy so he laid down and he became better after laying down for a bit. It might have been from the lack of food and or sleep because he also didn't have much food that day and it was like 3am at the time. Also the stuff we had seemed like some medical stuff it made us feel super sleepy and body high was pretty crazy as well so that might also tie in with the whole blacking out experience.
I'm surprised nobody knows about this. Some of the cannabinoids cause a temporary drop in blood pressure, particularly if you get really stoned or have low blood sugar from not eating recently. If you are standing up it will be worse, the only way to make it better is to lay down as soon as you feel yourself getting lightheaded. You can even elevate your feet after you are laying down. Sip some water or some juice if you haven't eaten lately. This is called postural hypotension, many medications can cause it.
