how is medicare or ss socialist? the va is for veterans, that's a totally different ballgame.

now the govt owning stock in private corporations is socialistic. aig, gm, and many different banks. not to mention they control fannie mae and freddie mac who own about 80% of all mortgages in this country. that's socialism.

Actually... social security, va, medi are socialistic. Socialism as in, the spread of wealth, goods, and services for the equality of the masses.

Thats economic Fascism, which is rampant in America. Also, the government has taken "economic measures" to control stock in these corporations as a result of to much leniency (aka repeals of many financially important laws such as glass steagall) in previous years, mostly by republican hands.

Sorry, im kind of a liberal but I can't stand when people label everything as socialism like its a horrible disease without understanding what they're saying.

what did i label socialism? you are the one labeling them socialistic.

so you tell me how the va, ss and medicare are socialistic? the community doesn't own anything. i would label them as communism (which socialism can and often leads to).

Actually we are getting less copters in Humboldt than ever. In Mendo they have had it pretty rough the last few years but Humboldt is one of the safest places to grow these days. CAMP only goes after large mexi grows on BLM, timber company land , and state and national parks in Humboldt. They are not concerned with people growing on their own private property. You would have to be going huge to even get noticed by them around here. That being said I wouldn't recommend any one moving here just to grow weed. These neighborhoods don't exactly roll out the welcome wagon for new people trying to get in on the gold rush.

I voted, and supported Ron Paul, KNOWING he wouldnt win, cause of the media blackout of him.
And the other night I watched zeitgeist, it was a slap in the face.

I don't think he's being very professional, I saw a TBS commercial with George Lopez and guess who was recommending to watch this? Obama.....why do you need the Prez to do commercials, is he even feeling the economic shit hole that we are in so hard that he needs to do commercials? He should be taking shit serious, such as legalizing MJ. Not only coming from a stoner, but someone that doesnt want to grow up leaching for money to feed my kids, even though I have a good job. Legalizing MJ would help the gas problems, solve renewable resource problems such as the depletion of trees due to construction purposes, and it would help with the weight problem that America is known for. Hemp seed oil is healthier than veg oil, and has more nutritional value than fish oil, which we have already realized is good for us.
