I understand your hatred. Because what you are seeing is that mainstream formula that corporate america shoves down your throat.. I challange you to listen to Tanya Morgan, Jay Electronica, Blu, Pacific Division, Busdriver, Out of sight, Just to name a few. I just want to see if you have the same feeling after listening to them.. then I can prescribe you with the proper hip hop medicineQuote:

Mainstream anything pretty much blows at this point in time..
I've been getting into Glitch music, (ie Glitch-hop artists The Glitch Mob)
for Hip Hop, i listen to a lot of Jedi Mind Tricks.. check out A History of Violence, that is a good album.. a bit on the hardcore, but the lyrical content is what gets me into hip hop personally..
Immortal Technique is really good. should be at the top of alot of list.
Also Jedi Mind Tricks is really good too.
Jadakiss, styles p, sheek louch, Immortal technique, A tribe called quest, mobb deep, juelz santana (Actually I fuck with dipset hard.) DMX, ransom, and Pharohe monch just to name a few of my favorite. I love hip hop and rap idc if it is violent or not the wordplay is amazing half the time.
How can you not care if the lyrics are promoting violence? That's a shitty attitude to have bro. DMX isn't exactly the type of guy you want to be.. he's straight fucked in the head now.
i agree, But the music that is out now is not hip-hop.Rapper aint sayin nothing but how big rims are,how much money they got. Even the Dj s are shitty now. They just play CD S and shit talk. What happen to the real mc s and DJ S
If u dont like Lil Wayne your not listening to what he says or you just dont get it. Anything from Texas Devin the Dude, Zro, SUC, ESG, thats more good shit
i hate hip hop too, but there are a couple good songs out there. i hate country, but there's a few songs i like. even the most horrible of styles is bound to have a few good songs. real talent will always shine through, no matter what crap is floating around with it.
