let me respond by saying good job I used about 20 or so of those kinds of pots 5-10 gallon this year to see how plants would grow in all my own medium. I did bury the pots a little bit for stealth but I am curious to see how well they can retain water from being in a pot and not the ground.
thanks!!
the pots are so cheap, and come in handy when transplanting b/c u can use a razor and cut the bottom out to place the plant in the ground.
but i did have a problem with the pots getting dry in 3 days. but we've had heat advisories alot, besides all the rain a few weeks ago.
i wanted to use big pots like u were saying, maybe next year.
seems like they would grow better if theres enuff room for roots.
seems like they would retain water better if the pot was in the ground, + stealthy.. good idea!
They look nice! Is one of them starting to flower? Maybe I'm seeing stuff lol.
thanks. it does look like its flowering in that pic, its a cell phone pic with crappy quality. its where i topped it and didnt quite cut all the top off.Quote:
