Dunno guys, I've lived in SoCal since 1978 and as long as I can remember we've never really had any catchy names for a bag based upon size or quality...it's always been "eighth" "quarter" "half" up to an ounce at which point we have a couple nicknames I can think of like an "oh-zer" or a "Z".
The Mexican gang-bangers up in Santa Ana used to sell "dimes" (and the street we cruised to get those was nicknamed "Dime Street") but that was back in the day when it was ten bucks a bag...and that was a while ago eh?
Besides we stopped going there once the gang scene got hairy in the mid-late 80's and suburban white kids like us were seen as rip-off targets more than as potential customers.
