42 days??? Unless you are a very very heavy set person, you are clean. It takes a average weight person 21-30 days to clean out. If you have been sweating in those 42 days you are golden. Even if not you are still probably clean..

Why not home test yourself? That way you know for sure whether you need to sub or dilute for the actual U/A. For the home test, use the first pee of the day.
