my plants won't budd!
Alright I got some pics... kinda surprised how good the closeup came out!
Im beginning to think I might have a light leak somewhere, so tonight I thoroughly patched up any potentials... just hope the exhaust system still works.
After reading some into the Bible I believe this is the case as most plants Preflower at 4-6 weeks this doesn't mean its about to flower.
So I think I may have just wasted 2 weeks of Flower Time  Oh well live & learn...
Also... I think its a BOY!:gunfighter2:
Anyone have any suggestions I could try, since I cant get this plant to Flower?
-Also I just noticed the last picture only shows 8 leaves but the 9th leaf is hiding behind the far right big leaf.

yeah...one idea....kill it! definately a boy thats why he won't flower like a girl! get rid of him before he pops any pollen that may infect future grows....live and learn and best part is you have a better idea of how to start....unfortunately the lessons you remember are the ones that you have an investestment in...may your next attempt yield more girls!

Could it possibly be a Hermie?
On the opposite side of the 2nd picture, behind what you can see, is nothing. One side has these nubs & the other is blank.
Would preflowering produce both sexes at the same time if it was a Hermie?
I have read cases about Hermies that most people believe Hermies only come from Females (because they keep the females around).
But since everyone kills their males immediately they never find out Males Herm as well.
Ill try looking into how Hermies Flower, but im open to any advice.

No..a herm will show later after the plant has gone into flower making bud....the male sex comes out later to pollinate the female portion of the plant...you have definite boy..it will not make a female flower...the male finishes about 4weeks into the flower schedule so its pollen will fertilize a female plant in its 4th week of flower to make fully developed seeds for next 4-6 weeks of flower and the male dies after spitting its pollen out...so what you have is a worthless houseplant technically unless it is a super stinky male then collecting some pollen from him may not be a bad idea if you want to make seeds with another good female:jointsmile:

Hey stra8outtaWeed,
I knew I read about Male Hermies, this isn't the original thread nor the webpage I found on this subject but it does occur.

LOL... just crossing my fingers for my plant... im looking for methods to convert males to Hermies, if I find anything useful i'll post.

The plant you have is a male. Cut it down and start over.

my plants won't budd!
Im more curious about how these plants develop at the moment, I want to see it go through all its life cycles first, regardless of sex.
Never seen one grow before, & im pretty good with plants :greenthumb:
While im prepping my SOG this is my Experiment, so in the Future I will chop all the males. This is more for getting my life cycles, lighting & nutrients better understood.
Plus reading & learning from experienced growers is priceless. Ive also been reading "The Growers Bible" as suggested by stra8outtaWeed, so hopefully when I start cloning & recycling ill have a good idea what to expect.
But thanks for the info... Keep it Green!

Don't mean to Double Post! Admin told me I waited to long to Edit...
Ive been reading into Herming Males & found an interesting tool growers use to cause increased hormones in plants called Ethephon. No idea if this will work with cannabis though LOL. But ive found some experiments on full male plants causing them to fruit.
Also found another Thread here in the forums about a male Hermie:
