the earth goes form warm to cold periodically and we should currently be heading fro a cold patch ie. an ice age the last being the plestocene ...hence the anxiety and the global warming issue...the major concern I have is that as a planet we are a large experiment essentially ...and every accurate scientific comparison needs a control...we need a second earth to do this...this is impossible hence the consternation !
i've been in both cities and comparing Beijing to LA is night and day to the pollution...China and India have some of the worst air quality in many more cities than any other countries....they oppose the co2 tax and burn nothing but leaded fuels while California has the strictest emission controls on vehicles in the US and also taxes many of the businesses and is monitored by an Air Quality Control board....the most polluted day in LA is considered a "blue sky day" in Beijing! But the whole Global Warming thing is about money no different than in 1937 when Cannabis and Hemp were made illegal and "yellow journalism" sold to the people by the group who stood to profit the most!
on the lighter side...maybe Al and Tipper split up over an argument on Global warming as we have had the coldest spring in 40 years :jointsmile:
Man-made global warming is completely made up.....all of it. Taken over by profiteers and crooks looking to scare folks into giving up their money cause man is killing mother earth......what a joke. Man is a insignificant speck on this giant planet and they have to inflate and exaggerate their claims to attempt to remain relevant in 2010. The CHURCH of global warming has also been preaching this BS for so long that they have far to much pride to admit they were flat out lying and exaggerating their #'s. Thats why hackers busted all those "scientists" trying to cover their asses in their emails and turning on those that disagreed with them.....and will continue to do so. This is just the beginning. The Church of Man Made Global Warming should be laughed at......like scientologists. Sure guys....there IS a spaceship behind Haleys Comet coming to save you.
The coldest recent spring is due to the reversal of El Nino and the addition of melt water from Siberia and Alaska into the north Pacific which increased the rainfall and lowered the temps due to cloud cover. Throw in changes in the jet stream....... Do you ever look at the satellite maps and see where all the moisture is coming from??? :jointsmile:Quote:
