I'm an old timer and I don't remember much weed for $15-35 an oz. that comes close to today's herb. Maybe with the exception of some Thai Stick that was purchased in Bangkok.. for $0.05 apiece!! We got 2000 of them for a $100. With the exception of a Missouri outdoor sativa a buddy grew.. I've never seen anything even close!
And as far as prices... I think things up here in Washington are pretty reasonable compared to other parts of the good ole USA.. Want to save some $$.. Start gardening!!
Peace, Farmer Rich
Well, we all need to remember that today's weed comes from the same stuff we smoked back then. Just some mixin' and matchin'. And true. I remember when the Mex dirt weed came 'round every year, even tasted like dirt. But, when it was dry, that shit even sold for a minimum of $20 after around '70. :smokin:Quote:

Gypski, I hope you are right. I kind of feel the same way though. Too many people are fed up and they have been for too long.
I recall the late '70's I paid $25. for Oz. of some new thing called 'red eye'--I asked, since when did street stuff have names. About the time Columbian was more popular on the market --any Columbian! P/R
Well there really was Panama Red, Alcapulco Gold, and some Caribbean smoke back in the old days. Alcapulco and Panama Red showed up even on the east coast. :jointsmile:Quote:

i never realised how much you lot in the US are paying, your prices are sky high, in the UK we pay half of what you pay for quality weed.
I don't buy from the street but a couple of friends have a connection for $80 half ounces ($160/oz). Good, strains too. :hippy:
