That's pretty bad dude. I got rid of the phlegm issue about a week after substituting vapor for smoke. Are you vaping 24/7?Quote:
I notice it especially when I wake up and have my morning 'lung oyster' session, hah.
Been over 3 months since I quit smoking, and my poor lungs still have a lot of purging to do. I don't want to add more crap into them with a product that SHOULD be helping me be healthy.
There's nothing about the PD's stainless steel heat exchanger that would account for your description of 'metal lungs'. If it was a problem, why wouldn't the aluminum block heat exchanger on the Volcano be a problem? And stainless steel is what they use to make high quality water bottles.
You've started two threads on this vape. First you're a skeptic of the vapor shown in a video, calling it smoke when it can't get hot enough to combust. Now you're saying it's giving you 'metal lungs'. Why don't you get yourself a vape with an all glass vapor path to ease your suspicious mind?
Yeah I smoke 1.3g to 1.5g a day, plus 5 or so cigarettes. And once I switched to vaping my morning loogies were gone. Very rarely do I get some phlegm in my throat, but noting at all like smoke. I've been trying to put some money together for a PD, but I keep finding others things I need. Like the new E-Flight Blade CX3 helicopter :stoned:
That looks cool. Thanks for showing me another toy my wife will give me a hard time about. ;)Quote:

Put away some lunch money for that PD. It's a jewel. I think it's safe to say nobody else will ever put out a vape that takes as long to make, and sells in this price range. And when you throw in the highest durability and efficiency, it's a 'gotta have' IMO.
Hi todd, I think I know what you mean. I've used the PD for nearly a year (using different vape now) and even though its a great little vaporizer it did leave a taste on my mouth a bit. Hard to explain but basically the same as the smell if you put your nose near the chamber. I also suffered with a sore mouth sometimes which I think was the heat drying my mouth. I was using it excessively mind. The taste will always be tainted somewhat with these designs compared to glass. I think the PD would be a much nicer experience with a longer glass stem.
