One of the prime reasons I was going to vote for Ron Paul is because of his views on the war on drugs, at least at first, then I heard him talk about monetary and foreign policy quite a bit..But getting arrested really fucked my life up, but oh man, I can damned sure smoke cigarettes and get lung cancer, but marijuana's dangerous?? No. That will always be one of my deciding factors in my state legislators as well, if they show ignorance towards marijuana as medicine, they aren't going to get my vote. Old Tom Coburn sure isn't going to ever get my vote for that exact reason.
Drug Policy, monetary policy, and foreign policy in that order are my prioritys.

I came across an interesting quote from Attorney General Eric Holder during his press conference today. When asked if the raids in california reflect the administrations policy, especially considering President Obama's pledge during the campaign, Eric Holder replied:
Quote:
..."what the president said during the campaign, you'll be surprised to know, will be consistent with what we'll be doing here in law enforcement. He was my boss during the campaign, he is formally and technically and by law my boss now, and so what he said during campaign is now American policy."
