anyone out there that can give this newbie advice ??
Howdy FcD!!! I think your plants are starvin'...I've read all kinds of opinions about the feeding of seedlings...Many say to hold off on nutes until they're two or even three weeks old...I think those opinions are incorrect...I feed mine at least once during their first week and that's besides the lump of earthworm castings they're sittin' in...:jointsmile:
alright i bought me some nutes this morning :giggity::rastabanna::greenthumb::greenthumb:
:vap_smiley::smokebong::bigsmoke:
i added nutes to the 2 sage plants, hopefuly we will see some improvment
2 lemon green skunk
1 durban poison
1 cough
the rest. i havent feed nutes to the young'ins yet, any idea to how long i should wait to start feeding nutes? should i wait til there about as tall as the sage plants are as of now?
I usually feed small plants 1/4 strength nutes,1/4 tsp SuperThrive,and 1 tbs of Sweet per gallon...Don't use the Sweet if you're going to also use this as a foliar spray...:jointsmile:
Congrats on the girl! A small fan blowing on the plants really strengthens their stems, like they were outside in the wind.
I got good news today too. My NLHaze babies are all 3 girls. It always is a happy day when you know you have a girl after all that hard work isn't it?
Keep up the hard work:thumbsup:
Good 1st grow, Im no expert, but I would say those plants are too small for the MH. A cheap $10 t-12 lighting fixture with 2 40w 6500k bulbs works very well for my plants for the first 2-3 weeks. You can keep the light within inches, no heat, save some electricity, companct growth.
I would say raise the light up some, I dont think they can use all of those lumens with so few leaves. (I recently put my 6" clones under a 600W MH at a big distance and the plants didnt like it, now they're back under their easy does it CFL light)
