Duct tape across the holes might help, too.
I ended up flushing her this morning (about 11 hours ago) in the bathtub. I tried to get as much water through there as possible, but i didn't remember the dishsoap technique. The duct tape would have been good too, i admit.
She has gotten a little worse (very little) today. Hopefully it will get better in the next few days.
Thanks again for all the help and comments:thumbsup:

She won't get better. A well-grown pot plant will look pretty frazzled by harvest, not like the shots in the magazines. You are actually trying to make it really hungry and leach nutrients out of it in the week before chop. Good growers see yellowing low leaves int eh last two weeks, and purple colors coming out if the strain can make them, and random deficiencies in the last week. This is GOOD. Rock on. Seriously your plant looks exactly right to me.

Nice job!
Whoa! Hold up a minute here. Stinky? So once they go 100% cloudy, then just plain ph'd h20? And then you can basically flush, and then just continue to water until your desired level of amber is attained?
I hope this is what you are saying! If so then I will be very happy!
I have been kicking around in my head how in the hell this works.
I wonder to myself,
"Self, if I start flushing now, and in 2 weeks, still not enough amber, I can just continue to water with plain ph'd water untill the plant gets there??
What about if you are using RO water? Discontinue cal-mag? JUst PH and molasses? This would be great, I am almost out of nutes!
Hey Big, not trying to jack your shit here, just asking for some more info on what Stinky was saying!
By the way, after looking again at your girl, maybe you should go ahead and just chop it, dry it, cure it, then pack it up and ship it to me and I will make sure it's really ok!:D

If you consider that it takes about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks to get from nearly all cloudy to your desired amber %, and that your flush period should be about 1-2 weeks, then it is actually a useful way to gauge your flush time without actually knowing the exact date on which the crop is due to come down. So yeah, it will save you the 'it's not even close!!!' headaches.
I think at the end of it all, the presence or absence of calmag in the watering solution is less important than during growth- maybe cut the ferts first, then cut the calmag later, in the last week. I don't know what would be perfect, but that would be logical at least.

I am probably just too high, but I don't understand, help me please lady!
So I get that Bigs plant is eating itself, and this is what you want. Got it. And that's a good thing.
That makes sense, I get that.
For the flushing, are you telling me that it usually takes most plants a week and a half to two to transition from all cloudy, to a certain level of amber, and that if I want more amber, just continue to water plain ph'd water as needed?
I feel like I am totally just missing something here?
I was always thinking that I wouldn't begin flushing until I saw some amber trichs? Is what you are saying that I will get to a good level of amber by the time a 10-14 day flush is done? If so then alright, I am closer to being done than I thought!:D
