sucking on a big bag of air.........i'd be ashamed to let ANY of my friends see me do that.....ahhh the younger generation,ANYTHING goes....
I actually just upgraded my vape to a new Vapir One. It's a real improvement over the hot box, which was all I could afford at the time.
Here are some tricks to get the most out of your weed, when you use a hot box
Turn until on and set temp to 320 or so. Put the whip in place and let it heat up for about 10 minutes. Now put your weed in it. ( I use a small folded piece of index card that fits into the hot mouth of the whip to dump the weed in ). Put the whip back on the vape. Now, ytip the vape so that the weed is as horizontal, against the heating element as you can. I prop mine up with a box of kleenex.
Start vaping. It usually only takes 5-8 "hits" off the vape to feel high. Hits at about 6-7 minutes after starting.
When finished, pull th eplug. When vape is a little cooler (5-10 minutes later) dump out the used weed and clean the inside of the big glass whip end by wadding up toilet paper and going around and around (you should see the tar!) Now put the whip back on the element i and put it away.
Why that last step?
That's what I call a "be kind to me" maintenance move. Now, you're all ready to start next time. Your glass and whip don't need to be cleaned with soap, water and alcohol so much, or replaced so quickly.
When I used the hot box, I was using less than 1/2 gram of weed at each session. It was only me, and I'm a lightweight. So, adjust your intact accordingly.
That vape will serve you just fine. As my dad used to say; it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. (ok, weird, Dad)
Where's your link for the study that supports smoke and vapor delivering in the same manner at the same time?Quote:
If both the vapor and smoke are absorbed through the lungs, both will hit the blood stream in the same manner at the same time
As for the OP, I think the problem may well be the same old 'I'm missing something with vapor', which is true. And if the wasted, couchlock feeling is what you're after, then vapor probably isn't for you.
vapefiend still on the prowl to correct everything and anything to do with vaporizers lol good times, see I haven't missed too much....I'm afraid if I say anything related to vaping that vapefiend will show up underneath my bed.... =/ ok just busting...i'm vaped as I type this..peace!
Yeah, it's awful that I actually ask for a reference to back up something that someone posts as a fact.
And it's interesting how you do the 'lol' thing to disguise a personal attack-excellent passive agressive skills there. And ending with "peace". Bravo!
aww so you did miss me?! :rasta:
I'm surprised how many hits you get from a bowl on a vaporizer then from a simple pipe or bong.
Back in the day when an 8th was $60 I used to drain my bong once a week through a coffee filter then smoke the remains. Not exactly like smoking resin because it was the unburned portions of weed that sucked through the bong bowl but got you plenty stoned.
smoke blunts
Personally, I only use my medicine in edibles and the vape, and I have one of those cheap units too. I prefer not to burn my lungs with smoke, and at 365 degrees I get many hits. Plus, I save the vaped medicine in a jar and make butter with it for my edibles when I have about half a cup. That amount to a pound of butter (see the recipe in the edible section that's a sticky) in a crock pot, I end up with about a cup and a half of butter. Then I make brownies from a mix, baked at 325 (not the 350 called for in the mix) for a little longer than called for. Half a brownie is plenty. I may be a lightweight, but friends with very high tolerances have praised my brownies' effects! None of this is instant out of this world super stoned, but that's not what I'm looking for. Your needs may vary!
