Cars & pot don't mix.
If you HAVE to travel with a small amount of pot make sure it's OUTSIDE the passenger compartment OR just a small bud you can eat quickly and have fast access to if pulled over. Don't wait, just eat it IMMEDIATELY if you do get pulled over. The worst that can happen is you get really high 30 mins later and it's mostly a body buzz anyways.
Inside the gas tank flip lid works great too but I guess it depends on the car type as you don't want it sticking out while you are driving down the road.
"I have no clue who put that under my gas tank cap" "What the hell is that anyways?"
The chances of them flipping up your gas tank lid are pretty low, I have never had them search there before. A little small black pouch works great like a little cloth jewelry bag with a drawstring, just put a small bud in a little plastic bag inside the little black pouch and stick it inside the gas cap compartment and if you can't see it from outside then you are good. I would also make sure there are no fingerprints on the plastic baggie just to be extra safe. Does this sound like a lot of work to you? Well, going to jail and trial is alot more work and most times easily avoided if you are'nt driving around with a bag of weed in your pocket, lol.
Also, no pipes, papers, roaches, etc. It only works if you don't have a glass bowl in your center console otherwise there is no deniability. :hippy:
i left that out. I was going to clean my SUV free of stems on the floor, leaves that have fallin and of course meds and pipes. I was late making cookies for my niece( in AZ) so I forgot to clean MY TRUCK! i know i know stooopidQuote:

That sucks man, I've lived here all my life and have 2 possessions and a paraphenalia(stupid young adulthood) all misdemeanors with a $750 fine. Never known anyone to get a felony here for anything less than a lb, then again it's Yuma so they've got all them good ole boys.
I too got busted by the crappy I-8 checkpoint near Yuma. I had to do 18 months of "counseling" to get the charges dismissed. My public attorney was also terrible. I was pretty much my own lawyer through the whole ordeal. Anyone know if there are checkpoints on I-10?
And then we lose the mmj vote by what a thousand votes. How many thousands of pot smokers were getting high while not voting? I bet enough to have easily passed it.
I recently went through the checkpoint north of Sierra Vista. Had maybe a gram each of c99 and SD. In my pocket in a round plastic gum thing/case? whatever. Slipped it out of my pocket but no chance to throw it without the cars behind me seeing, and you know they would snitch. Had a pipe too. put it in one of those cuplike ashtrays with a lid that was full of cig butts. They only bring the dog from the driver side back tire, around the back and they try to make the dog hit on the trunk, then to the passenger back tire and again point it out to the dog. The dog got nothing at the back of the car, then they walked right by me(passenger seat). The dog was 2 to 3 feet away and the punk didn't smell shit.:smokin:
The don't have the dog smell the front or passenger compartment for legal 4th amendment reasons.
The Border Patrol has these checkpoints on all the highways that come from anywhere near mexico.
was her name Michelle?Quote:

no idea about I10.
but they are mobile so they can pop up anywhere...
saddens me that this is still happening to people.
First off, visit our forum for info on how to NOT get busted and how to properly assert your rights at a boarder patrol check point.
second, learn the term Corpus Delicti, remember it:stoned:
third of all, AZ is now a MMJ state so stop playing around and get a card if thats an option for you. Also dont travel across state lines with it, our forum has facilitated the AMMA as written allowing patients from outside AZ to get their meds from caregivers and patients in AZ. This can be arranged ahead of time so people aren't crossing state lines with their meds. We are hoping to get the other MMJ states on board and establish a real caregiver network nation wide for mmj patients. :rastasmoke:
Same dog, same Border patrol. Same ripoff. Welton Arizona pay's all their bills ripping off us. This is a scam, Yuma county is making BIG money! Just like the old time speed traps. This is the new speed trap that feeds the cops, judges, attorney's all the way down to the slim that runs county jail. What can be done to stop this type of state and county rippoffs. Bully goverment.
