No meaning can be extracted without knowing what word is missing. Did you mean to say that you would usually lose 25% to 30% of the initial wet weight after drying or did you mean that you lose 70% to 75%, retaining 25% to 30%?

If you are going to correct someone's grammar...make sure yours is up to snuff.
