God can we stop talking about this already. Ive had enough. was it sen. Douchebag or sen. Turd Sandwich. who cares same feaking team! More importantly America spoke tonight. Did anyone even notice that they kept the senate and the house. Thats America speaking loudly to me saying they had enough of the Bush era and would do anything to get out of it. ANYTHING!
Hell yea. I've watched the polls day after day, and even though it was clear that Obama SHOULD win (as in the clear majority of voters wanted him to win), I just haven't been able to shake the sense of dread that somehow this election would still be stolen. But it didn't happen. We won. Obama won. America won. The nightmare that we've lived under for the last eight years is nearly over, and we have a chance to build a better future. This was the single most important and historic election that any of us are ever likely to be part of in our lifetimes, and yet the shock that it has actually happened leaves me feeling numb and shocked - Maybe by tomorrow it will really sink in, but right now I'm just trying to process the fact that it's finally over.Quote:

Congratulations, America - you won.
sad sad day.
Have mercy on us..
America has Spoken very clearly
this is Rush Limbaugh's last words before tonight's outcome
Ignore the Exit Polls and Go Vote!
This was not by any means a 'close' win as some would have imagined
so far its near 52% - 47% and I would guess it will get more distant on popular vote once all votes are counted. more like 60-40. on electoral votes, well numbers speak of a 2 to 1 win, even a bit higher! its almost a 340 to 160
Oh "YES WE DID" and YES WE CAN
there is a shit ton of work to be done now and i hope the next admin and congress can deal with it far far better than the previous one
 i just saw on cnn that mich. was up 2 to 1. landslide!!!!!Quote:
