Well...you have to start from seed first unless you already have clones so I am assuming you will have approx a 50/50 male & female ratio to begin with, so the first cycle you are going to want to isolate the best mothers and get rid of those males (unless you want to make more seeds)..the best way to do this is to veg the seeds to maturity and find the males & females...some strains indicate well before flowering at like 4 or 5 weeks of growth under HPS lights like Sweet Tooth from Spice of Life seeds which indicates sex under constant 24 hours of light and is very high yielding and a blueberry cross x sweet pink grapefruit (NL#1) cross. Some strains do not and you will have to wait until flowering starts before you know what is what and this can cause hermies sometimes on the clones if you take them from a flowering plant and then try to switch them back into veg under constant light, but some strains are not bothered by this at all..it just depends.
So when you do figure out which ones are females take a few clones of each female plant and try to look for the ones that have the most branches & potential bud sites and have the darkest green & most healthy compact squat plant structure. Look for things like thick stems and the most desirable smell also. Try to take clones from at least 5 different females minimum for a total of say 20 - 25 clones or so which will become small potential mothers while the other plants they were taken from are flowering. Grow these under a small MH light or under a few CFL's or even a bank of good full spectrum flouro's...plants don't need a ton of light to veg from clone and you want to give them low levels of light while growing roots because young clones are very tender. You also don't want them to get too big while you are waiting for the first plants to be done.
So when the first cycle of seed grown plants are half-way or further through flowering you will probably be able to start to determine the best female plants based on the results you are seeing in that first crop. Now of course you have your clones and originals marked so you know what is what as far as matching back clones to the plants they were taken from. You are basically looking to isolate the best mothers so you can continue to grow them out and use them for a steady supply of clones.
When the first crop is done you can use the plants that were not the most desireable for a second crop since you know they are all females and you won't be keeping them all as mothers. Grow out & flower these for a second batch and from then on you should be able to cut and grow clones from those select mother plants for future cycles.
This is of course assuming you are not acting in conflict with the law and live somewhere that growing MJ is perfectly legal, otherwise disregard this advice! :)

For blueberry strains I was looking at Legends Seeds under the "DJ Short" section and found these...for the blueberry lover in you!
Sweet Blue
(with Spice of Life)
PRICE: $80 Cdn
$70 US
A Joint Project with Spice of Life, DJ Short provided the Blueberry pollen to Spice of Lifes f1. The f1 came from the first extremely popular Spice of Life Seeds release from 1994, a Sweet Skunk. The f1 selections from those seeds netted two very sativa specimens. They truly stood out from the rest of the pack; almost hazy but with a different sweetness. One of those sativa expressions was shared, it was pick #10. Eleven years later it is still grown widely as a choice strain for the connoisseur. Now crossed with DJ Shorts Blueberry they hope you will find some unique deliciousness within. Enjoy

Mountain Jam (Soulshine X Blueberry)
(with Cannabis Cowboy)

PRICE: $80 Cdn
$70 US
We are very proud to offer you the initial release in the joint projects between Chimera Seeds and DJ Short. The Mountain Jam is a hybrid of the Soulshine and DJ's prized blueberry, blending two colourful and sweet flavored elites for an oustanding performer. The SoulShine has become our flagship sensimilla flower for overall odor, taste, beauty, ease of growth, quality of high and of course yield. It has a multi-angled branching pattern that seems to balance the arms so that the massive tops and tips can almost support their plumpness without assistance. Once turned to a flowering cycle, these beauties will double in size and the arm tops will be ready for a colorful harvest at 53-58 days. With proper techniques, two more harvests 3-5 days apart and you will be amazed at how much ripening will happen on the middles and bottoms, turning the calyxes into little purple candy canes. Pollinated with DJ Shorts selected Blueberry male, should bring a reminiscent smell of grapefruits, overripe mango and wild blueberries when they are ready for harvest.
Flowering: 7 - 9 weeks
Yield: Average
(Again, please do not act in the conflict of any laws where you live.)
Good luck!

When you pick your seeds, I think its a good idea of not only picking QUALITY, but also look at how long they take in flowering. If you pick one that finishes in 7 weeks rather than in 9 weeks, the you not oly have a cost of savings of 22% in electricity, but you basically can get 2 more crops in per year. You'll have to figure what that's worth.

I know you get most /all of your resin/heartyness usually in the last 2 weeks so I would rather grow them for the full 9 and try to get the most off everyone of them ,rather than have premature good ,would rather have right on time and GREAT
but from what I have read and seen it takes roughly 5 months before you see any smokable bud and to be able to produce clones to keep the flip alive
how much of what will I need to be able to produce 2lbs every 2 or 3 months
and whats a good strain to do wth the blueberry
PLS remember I am an outdoor grower and understand the plants ,Im an indoor greenie but outdoor I produce giants

Your room is 10 foot long and 7.5 foot high you should get about 35-40 plants and only use 3 to 3.5 foot you can build one on the oposing wall and put your lamps in the center of the room.
you would start with getting 3" or 4 " pvc pipe and snaking it up the wall like pic one shows. The red marks is where the plants are placed in pipes in rockwool.
the green square is the water inlet and the blue square is your water reserviour. and you would run your pump up to the top and let gravity pull your nutes and water down to the water again.
Sorts of like a drip system on steroids.
The yellow streaks are your 4'florescent lights standing up.
Or you can do opposing walls and hang your lights in the middle. and place 2 box fans in opposing ends as well.
maybe total cost 300 us.
plus a good pump that will push water up to the top of the whole thing maybe 5' . you could get easy 35-40 plants. and with 3 or 4" pvc you shouldnt totally clog the pipe unles you have one hell of a root ball.
in the second pic I am using only 1 1/2 unch pvc and its working great. But will clog when they are bigger so i need to build a bigger living wall.
Any questions ask.
I didnt know we had a PM on here.

I see what you mean about it being gravity fed to the bottom but putting the lights on the side and not on top wont the grow sideways or do you run more lights or just angle those lights so 1 end is high and 1 is lower ,,
I thought you used the florescents on them early and switched to HPS for budding I didnt think those lights would be strong enough for them the whole time
oh and I wasnt aware either on the PM's but wasnt sure how you wanted to let me know / share
