I'm not sure its so much ignorance, so much as its sociopathy or perhaps just desensitized. Complete lack of sympathy or empathy for ones fellow man. Still, i guess no one can help it, everyones different.

I get what you mean but I still think he is just ignorant unless it jumps out at him. For someone who claims he's so well travelled and has never come across any anti americanism......he must be ignorant. When I go to london or amsterdam or in fact any where else in europe that has alot of young travellers all the canadians wear a canadian flag badge on their bag...when ever i have asked them why they do this they say its so people dont confuse us with people from the states, accompanied with statements such as you get a lot of hostility if people think thats where your from.......
Like I said b4 i dont take this view but alot of people do, i met some really cool americans and some assholes (including some whom when they were talking about london all they kept going on about was how big the burger king was....lol) but yeah trust me the anti american feeling is there.
