That is a nice shade of purple!
That's definately from the cold. -1 might do some damage. If you can, make a greenhouse around them by putting up four posts taller then the plants and wraping them in plastic at least at night, I had to do this for some long seasoned heirloum red Habanero peppers. Just make sure there isn't any moisture in there put some dry straw in the bottom around the stem up to the first leaf set. The humidity might get high so keep an eye out for bud rot.

i havent seen a raido shack in years its now calld the source same as radio shack but better from what i have seen but ill defently have to get one of those micerscope things your talking about.and as for building a tent or something around my plant it would be too much of a heat score so im just going to have to hope for the best besides we had frost last night so if damage is done it was done already.go figure for the next ten days or so its going to double didgets havent been outside yet today but what from what i can see from my window there looking realy realy cold. oh well nothing i can do now but hope for the best.

Freezing temps will kill parts of the plant. You'll see leaves start to decompose then bud rot (Botrytis) will set in, after that all you got is compost.
If I were you I'd curl up next to her with an electric blanket and massage the stems while whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

yes now with the second frost you must pay extremely close attention for mold. especially since you say some warmer weather is coming. read, read, READ on prevention and treatment. if you think you have to harvest early, make sure you smoke only buds with no mold. i wouldn't risk the harmful side effects of moldy-pot-smoking. prevent if you can afford it. let me see if i can find any info on it...
this gives a little info and some tips for treating/removing, but i wouldn't try the mouthwash thing.

hey found 2 things for you.
1. original thread with houdini's post. they were talking more about rain affecting the plants.
http://boards.cannabis.com/outdoor-g...blem-buds.html
2. a hopeful post with stinky (i'm sure you know she's the guru) and other folks saying light frosts won't do much damage.
http://boards.cannabis.com/outdoor-g...rn-plants.html
read this and feel better until you're sure your crop has been lost! if all is lost, you gained knowledge and experience. if some is lost, you can feel good about growing something yourself. and the purple would probably be good for bag appeal. if you come out on top with full harvest, you have both.

From what I can see she still looks good. In cold weather the calyxes swell and get covered in trich. You going to have some sticky bomb herb soon
The first sign of freeze damage will be parts of the leaves will turn grey and die (necrosis). I would pull off the ones that show this damage. Cut off the toe before the whole foot goes.
