Be sure to calibrate you're ph meter, be sure to follow the indication on the fetilizers bottles... The soil still look like really wet wait before you water the plants. I don't know what else to say.
:( my ph 7 calibration liquid comes in the post 2mo so will let you know the results need a watering 2mo the light just makes soil look darker than it is, anyone know about the brown spots? also the leafs i took photos of yesterday are almost dead loosing moisture and curling downward anyone know why?
Cheers
Tom
Curling may be heat stress, what is the distance of the plant and the CFL light, check the temps near the plant to be sure it's not too hot... Did you feed the plant any nutes ?
Wouldnt heat stress affect the upper leafs then work down not the other way round? i just gave them their first nutes 3/4 days ago.
still getting worse just watered them today as they where DRY. Watered Ph 6.
Run off water 5.4
Any sudgestions?
will upload some more photos tonight
cheers
Tom
You will need calibration 7 and 4 to set your PH meter.Quote:

It's simple just put your PH meter in the calibration 7.0 stir it and leave it for a minute or two if your meter shows 7.0 its ok the same with the 4 if it shows4.0 thats fine.Quote:

Meter in fluid 7 ajust to 7.
Meter in fluid 4 ajust to 4.
Meters are very sensitive so be carefull when ajusting the screw, be gentle.
I check my meter for accuracy once a month.
You can buy probe cleaning fluid to clean the probe on your meter.
One more thing don't cross contaminate any of the fluids.
Hope this helps.:)
