Palin interview with Katie Couric
I think Chris Rock said it best durring his interview with Larry King...
"And every time they let her talk for more than four minutes, you actually start feeling sorry for her. It's kind of like Kim Kardashian on 'Dancing With the Stars.' All that ass and can't shake it. ... So sad."

i think it would be a nice change to have a vice-president that knows absolutely nothing about foreign policy
"I think our presence in Iraq and Afghanistan will lead to further security for our nation. We can never again let them onto our soil."
- Sarah Palin

I think something is going wrong for her. I watched a bit more of these interview clips on various news channels, and it seems like she has lost her confidence. She gets kind of stammery and flumoxed. My very first impression of her was that she could speak well, even if I didn't agree with anything she said and I thought her beliefs were wacko. She still seemed to be able to deliver her remarks.
I think after the Gibson interview and the "Bush Doctrine" flub, the campaign pulled her out of the game too long, and she lost her nerve.

i thought she performed well at the repub convention...i heard that her teleprompter malfunctioned temporarily and she didn't lose her composure...
we've already seen her A game
giving a prepared speech full of empty rhetoric to a friendly audience is a lot easier than an unscripted televised interview, and the tv interview is a lot easier than a confrontational debate in front of a live audience
i wonder how her debate training is going...
Palin interview with Katie Couric
The debate is probably going to be embarrassing...
But maybe this is just an elaborate way of setting low expectations, and she is going to eat Biden alive.

A V.P. with limited foreign affairs experience is one thing but on the other side of the aisle we're talking about the Presidential candidate have equal to less experience. Just doesn't make sense to me.
Have a good one!:s4:

She really speaks like she's actually drunk...when I first saw her I thought boy does this lady looks smart and she's got some stuff to say, Ron Paul where are you??:rasta:

i bet obama knows that iraq and afghanistan never invaded the united states!
did george bush, bill clinton, ronald reagan, jimmy carter have foreign policy experience? i remember criticism of bill clinton in his run for the presidency that being governor of arkansas was about the same as managing a convenience store...
all the experience in the world is useless if you don't have good judgement

I agree with you, maladroit. Hell, Saddam Hussein had 30 years experience as a leader, but he was still a corrupt and evil son of a bitch.
Right now, I think McCain is starting to look a bit childish, especially with his impulsive "campaign suspension" (he still performed campaign functions while it was supposedly suspended) and trying to postpone the debate. I think Obama's a really smart guy and will learn quickly if he gets in office.
There's another one. McCain has literally 0 executive experience, and we're hoping for him to take the most demanding executive job at the ripe old age of 72. How long is it going to take him to learn the basics?
