Commentary: Sexist treatment of Palin must end
I don't hink the talk has been sexist enough. She's a woman. It should be a debateable issue. Just like Obama being black should be a debatable issue. Not rascist but it should be discussed what impact him getting elected would have on the black population. Will it be good or bad. The same with Sarah. To not discuss these issues because its not politically correct is absurd.

I agree with this to an extent. Most people wont say something like this for fear of retribution from super-liberals, when in fact it's a valid question. However, I probably would have just asked it way back when Obama was in the running for the candidacy, as well as Hillary. Harder to do with Palin since she hasn't been around long.
Lastly, I just cant wait for the VP debates. The presidential ones should be really great and give a lot of insight, but the VP debates are gonna be a shitshow. I can't wait to watch Palin on stage with her jaw slack and her eyes glazed over with incomprehension, while simultaneously spewing out McCain-esque rhetoric that I can't be sure she fully understands, as Biden stands there and already knows how he's gonna dominate, albeit likely with a few fuck ups on the way.

Republican Herbert Hoover was in office when the stock market crashed in October 1929 - well before the advent of TV.
Hopefully by the debates Biden does a lil' history homework. :D
Have a good one!:s4:

It's not like he's outright delusional and confusing history. He simply made an error in wording. Vitaphone technology was developed in conjunction with the Silver Screen in 1927 so sound and picture could be syncronized. FDR and Elenour narrating were featured in a wide variety of propaganda films for WWII. Roosevelt was also the first president to utilize radio frequently as a medium to better communicate with American people. It's not like it deeply diverts from the meaning of what he stated.
Attacking him for making an error is just as dumb as the ad against McCain that he's a dinosaur that doesn't know how to use technology. It's a cheap political attack.

How I love the left wing. Obama/Biden make boo-boos and McCain is out of touch. I'll bet if he made that same statement Biden made you people would be accusing him of being senile.
And people wonder why nothing gets done in Washington when you have this type of partisan crap outside of Washington. What do you expect? Like has been stated by the "chosen one"...."change starts at the lower levels, not from Washington.".
