Cleaning a plant in flower?
Eh... no picture. Too small. I did cut a small section off for further examination. I notice that there are tiny green pod things all up in that biiiatch. Again, these may be the beginnings of protruding nanners... but could they be undeveloped seeds? I don't see how pollination could have happened, because I have been spending hours with them everyday and noticed nothing strange until now.
Either way... this was my "school of hard knocks." Not too concerned if I have to chop and start over. Got a Homebox on the way anyway, and this has been a stressful "nothing was set up at the beginning, space is wayyy too small, and it's been a constant money pit/frantic rush to find supplies" type of grow :rasta:
Side note: That piece I cut to inspect got quick dried and smoked. Trichs are just starting to get cloudy on the ladies... so I wasn't expecting to be floored... but the feeling of lighting some bud that has been nowhere else on Earth besides with you.... is a reeeeeaaaaaally good feeling. Fuck... maybe I am high. :stoned: Woah, yup... that's a 10-4. Holy head sizzle. I can tell when it's heady because my face starts to itch. Same thing happens when I get the drip drip pain meds in the hospital.

Could be nanners.. could be undeveloped seeds. It's not unusual for a pollen sack to get hidden among the calyxes and basically get swallowed by them so they are near invisible to you.. even if you spend everyday you could pass one of these suckers up.
A pollen sack will break and usually limit pollinaton to that one cola or bud site, however if you have good circulation in your room then it's possible for the pollen to travel.
Remember 1 grain of pollen = 1 seed
I say quarantine this plant and keep a close Eye on it.
I mean it will still give you bud, it might be seedy, but some bud is better than no bud.
I say keep it, but seperate it from all your other plants. :hippy:

Dust Buster ftw! I use mine in the garden ALL the time!
(Cheap Black and DEcker battery-operated hand vacuum, $25 at Wal Mart, also effective against mite infestation)

Thanks people's :hippy:
Now that I have you here... do calyxes open up to let the pistils come out? And just before this happens, does it look like a small green pod inside the split calyx?
I'm just asking because I was SURE there were potential nanners... but after a few days that same growth is just a calyx with pistils.
I guess I just imagined that the pistils came out, then the calyx would develop... is this backwards?
But yeah... definitely no nanners at the moment :rasta:

The pistils are usually always there.. just sometimes too small to see. That's why you want to give them a few days.
Developing Nads and Calyxes look very similar until it extends from the stalk... then you know it's a male part.
