I would be but its 94 degrees and humid as hell, then I have mosquitows and ticks. Mosquitoes are the worst. I can only stand to battle the mosquitoes for about 5-10min before I'm forced to retreat.Quote:

I was planning on going to Firefest in England (I am in the music industry) and make a side trip to Amsterdam the end of Oct. As with everyone else the economy has killed the dollar against the pound/euro so we decided to put it off a year. SO I had to order seeds, I've never done it so I learned what I could and took seasoned growers advice, ordered from Rhino Seeds (From what I have seen the peeps in N. CA have had no issues with them.
I've ordered: White Widow, Train Wreck, The Hog, and Arjan's Strawberry Haze. I wanted to try a Stevia, and an Indica and a blend I know the Trainwerck grows good in this climate and White Widow is always a favorite.
I am trying to decided where to grow next year. animals are a concern so that keeps me in my back yard. I have a 25x40 foot "garden area" on the top but it is slightly obvious to anyone in my back yard or in my house (not that I care) I can either use this area or plant along the fence line (most unobtrusive) I also have an option in a backfield, but I'm afraid that is too blatant to the planes over head)
I have been working the hell out of my own mulch pile for a year now and as soon as it rains and adds some moisture back into it I will really mix it. I plan to bring in most of it next spring (end winter). I'll start the seeds in jiffy pots again and move them to 5 gallon buckets when the weather has warmed and last chance of frost has passed. I like to cut the bottom off the buckets and drop them a 1/2 foot into the ground. I dig down knee high by 2 foot per bucket and fill the holes with Worm castings, perlite, peat moss, and mulch.
I'm just rambling, would love advice if you see something I am doing wrong or the hard way. Thank you SouthernGuerilla and hydrocannabis for you comment so far keep em coming and I'll keep updates as I get closer to harvest on the current crop.
Thanks,
Evil
Looks good from here. :greenthumb:
looking good! that lineup you named of all the stains you ordered sounds like a great selection! i also recently ordered from Rhino Seeds, and received my Blueberry seeds by Dutch Passion in only 5 days, so their delivery to Northern California is very fast.
so when do you think you will begin harvesting?
GIANCA, It's your thread that brought me to this site. I was googling and fell into it, started looking around and decided to throw down some cyber roots. I have enjoyed reading your thread, but when I registered I couldn't find it again. Glad you found me. How's your grow, you get the camera back for more photos?Quote:

hey. i'm glad to hear that my thread influenced your choice to share with us your lovely females.
i literally just got home from picking up a family member from the airport, who had the camera, so new pictures coming within the next couple hours.
the drying and curing process will be tough on all of us, haha. all that great bud, just sitting there, not being able to be smoked for that much longer!
what part of northern california are you in? just a vague location: bay area? redding? sacramento? nothing too specific
so make sure to stop by my thread in a bit to check out how they are doing after a week of no updates.
cant wait to see your harvest pics :hippy::hippy:
