Obama's 'lost' brother found in Kenya

i dont see this as that bad! I have a half brother that lives in Indiana... not nearly as far and Ive seen him maybe three times in my life. Just because they share a parent doesnt mean that they should be close. I have full blood relatives that I wouldnt give a dime to! Damn, its funny what people choose to attack a candidate on. its obvious that they didnt hit it off when they met so maybe he didnt feel like giving to a stranger. last thought, those that much is given much is required. Give them a thousand now and maybe he will "need" a thousand later!

Your brother probably doesn't live in a shack on $1 a month. Your full blood relatives may not give you a dime but I bet none of them had an income over 2 million in the last year.

I first saw this on Drudge, then heard a blurb about it on the EIB. I had to pull over I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to piss myself or get in a wreck!
Maha says something about "the least Obama could have done was send him a rice cooker, so long as fedex would deliver to a hut. " Then he apologized for the insensitive comment since it was very likely that his brother didn't have the any rice.:D
Then he went on to say something to the extent of how Obama has now ruined watching Monday night football because every time he here's the words "hut hut hut" he won't be able to keep himself from laughing hysterically!

Seriously though, why would Obama want to help him out? He is living the life that Obama has planned for Americans, (except for himself of course).
Think about it, this guys carbon footprint is probably next to nothing! I mean compared to us evil bastards, how much of a carbon footprint does a camp fire have?:D

how much would you like to wager? I assure you'll lose this bet! I just learned a long time ago that other peoples money is other peoples money. you cant expect others to take care of you. Im in the worse place financially speaking that Ive ever found myself in and Im not not out there with my hand out. Could I make a phone call that would allow me to sleep at night, sure. Im just saying from what I've seen in life that many people start to expect these gifts. and Im not saying that i wouldnt give money to my half bro. Im just saying that I wouldnt give it to him because hes family. I would give him money if i could help him out because I know hes a great hard working person that if he asked it was because he really needed it! but I have full blood family members I would never give to because i dont feel the need to help them drink more!

my point: charity is charity and being family has nothing to do with it and its a weak point to make on obama. come on, we can find better things wrong with him than he doesnt give his money to someone he really doesnt know!

Have you read my posts? If yo uhave you would know that I am the last person who is for hand outs and I understand being against that. However you seem to have mixed up the message of extending a hand to family with Begging. I am saying Obama should have taken initiative to help his brother. If a person will not help his own brother how can you expect him to help the American people whom have even weaker ties to Obama.

You're also not in a position of being a millionaire. Do not compare yourself to Obama. The difference is that he's in position to help without it being detrimental to his financial well being.

There is a difference between you and your family and Obama and a brother who lives in poverty, in a 10x10 shack on $1 a month. You say I will lose this bet? I am willing to take this bet. I am confident that you are not in such a situation. There is no way you could really prove anything yo usaid anyway so continue if you want but anything you say on this subject is just heresay and to be quite frank is irrelevant to me. So if charity is charity.. then it is accurate to say that Obama is not charitable?

And it's not that Obama doesn't give money to someone he doesn't know. Anyway you slice it or dice it they are brothers and he is in perfect position to help out a family member. Combine this issue with the countless of other questionable issues and people surrounding Obama and you get a true sense for the type of man he is.

wow that is unintelligent. So Obama is planning for Americans to live in huts on a dollar a day. So he is not going to attempt to be reelected by the people of this nation, if in fact he does become president?

Again, this half-brother of Obama's has done at least two paid interviews since they found out where he was living, so I doubt he's hurting financially. Not to mention, Barack is extremely popular in Kenya, so his half brother is probably treated very well now by other Kenyans. The dollar-a-day figure was undoubtedly from before people knew who he was, and I guarantee it isn't the case anymore.
