Good luck mate, the afghan is some pretty nice choice, can't wait to see the first buds...
I'll be watching....
if you were exhausting that would be fine for your room. but you need double when you scrub.
Even if I have half of my the power (225 CFM) I exhaust the room in less than 5 min. I can't afford more power (because of the noise)... A muffler could be a good solution for this, but I'm starting to get low on money... I'll wait at least for the first harvest, after I may consider.
When you're all finished on this one, just refer back to this log, roll a nice spliff up of some of that afghan and brainstorm...."what didn't perform as I wanted?, what went wrong?, what could have gone wrong?, maybe if this is....?,..."Quote:

Hey, Lu! Sorry to read about the NL hermie, but you still have some sweet Afghans in flower! They are some serious bushes, my friend! It looks like you have a nice clean setup too. I can't wait to come indoors! You indoor guys grow some serious bushes in a hurry. Dang good work! I'm looking forward to some bud shots, bro!
I just check out the plant carefully and I found no female pre-flower any where on the plant. So it's a male, I'm getting ready to cut it down. Here some pic of this bastard ! :P
Well at least the 4 afghan I have are females ! I can't wait either to see buds forming... I'll keep you updated.
So it look like I was thinking these big things, with on X on the picture, was pre-flower... As I notice later on they are not... Checking again this morning it look like I have another male. As for the 3 other they seems to be females, I'll confirm that later, with some other pictures.
Sorry for the male......but thats the chance we take......i had similar luck last run with my only two plants turning out male......sucks but its a learning experience......this run i decided to invest in some fem seeds....got 2 plants both are female....good luck....the plants look great
Here is some picture of the other male I'm going to cut down.
The 3 other plant show pistils and no balls so far... So this might not be too bad for a first grow from seeds, out of 5 plants 3 females, I've already made clones for all the plants, I will just keep the females.
I was not expecting a lot for my first grow and this is perfect. It's just enough to get the experience I wanted. The next one should be better.
