ok so they shriviled up and died after application of soap :( next season shall be better
yeah curling down of the leaves is a bad thing.
Seriously!? All your plants died? That sucks, my friend, sorry to hear that.
For next year, you may want to keep in mind that any soap solution should be extremely diluted. And in fact, I've heard it is best not to use common soap b/c you never truly know what exactly is in it. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't. Some companies even change their recipe from year to year. I recommend you either use a pesticide like Sevin, or an insecticide horticulture soap (and follow the dilution instructions carefully).
I know chemicals are "bad" and all, but if you use them lightly they can be a good thing. That's just my opinion. I recently used Sevin to stop grasshoppers from eating my plants (my grow log is in this forum), and I couldn't be happier with it. I'd rather have dead insects then dead plants, you know?
thanks for the tipssssssssss!!!!!
I noticed one of my plants had leaves that curled downward after my dog pissed on/near it. So maybe it was from too much ferts or some sort of toxins?
you should use like a teaspoon of neem to 32 oz of water and like 2 drops of soap to spray next time :p
