It ends with a divorce.
Every post I read says you're stupid to grow where you do not own! Thought about it, use to have a rental or 2 and I can see both sides. I figured I had a tenant, for sure I figured he was, at the least selling. But, kept the house nice, paid cash ($20's that smelled like pot) and was never a problem. Once he moved, I got supplies from him. Now that it is legal, am sure he grows and sells. And now that I read this, I think he flushed plants in the shower, smelled awful! Had a big closet in his room and he rented out the rest of the house.
Not suggesting you do that, but that is what you may find in a landlord. I know people up there and it is a standard joke, even before 215, that everyone grows. My bet is they advertise that to protect themselves, as landlords.
I'd love to live up in that area, but it is too darned expensive. Now, is a good time to buy though! If I were better able to travel, you bet I'd be looking up there now!
They say don't wander into fields because there are a lot of grows going in Nat'l forest's etc. and believe me, those guys have guns and protect them! Anyway, that is what locals up there have told me! I would not know!
Sorry to hear your relationship has failed. Things happen for a reason. What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger! Just as you, am at a point to re-start again and looking for a different area. Wish it were as easy as picking up and going!
Most Kaiser's have covered lots and are quiet! They do not like long term parking though! If you wanna new start, that is a good area! Good luck to you! Hope you keep us informed and this doesn't get cabboosed from the site!:twocents:
Would like to know how you can do a divorce that fast!
