i think your right the do have growth at alternate nodes. i was wodering why they looked diff. does only certain kinds of stains do this?
From what I read in some of the post around here it sounds to me like you have preflowers.
no worries, a lot of times when a plant is mature enough it will start alternating nodes and hairs will emerge before you iniciate flowering.
if you want to keep it in veg i would put the lights on 24/0 and make sure your plants getting some nitrogen. :twocents:
Yeah, if you don't know what you've got it may be a ruderalla strain (sp?). These autoflower no matter what the light schedule.
thank you everyone for your input i will put my lights on 24 hours how many days should i leave it on for?
also some males started showing balls(3) also. which i already killed. i dont know if that makes a diff with anything.
if your running 18/6 and getting balls already. it should be a rudarella or auto flower at a month of growth that sounds like the best answer i can give w/o a pic
Here are a few pictures if anyone can identify better. are those lil flowers gonna stay the whole time or will they go back to vegging? any help is appreciated. I dunno if you can see the hairs or not in the pictures. i tried to get one close one.
I don't know for sure what visual traits autoflower plants posses, but if it's not one, it looks more like a sativa dominant plant. From those photos I can't see any indication that the plant is flowering. It looks like one of my normal female plants, except more like a sativa than mine. Just guessing, but if not a ruderalis then it's maybe 75% sativa.
You'll probably want a bigger container soon, but other than that I don't see anything wrong. (That doesn't necessarily mean nothing's wrong.) I don't see flowers or preflowers. Can you put your camera on macro, hold it real still (tripod?), and get real close to what you are concerned about? Preflowers are a little pod about 1/8 inch in diameter. The grow right in the crease where a new branch comes out of the main stem. Considering the size of the plant, you should be able to sex it using preflowers. Carefully open the outer layer of the pod and look inside with a magnifying glass. If there are hairs, she's a female. If there are balls, he's a male.
