What do you all think about throwing a Screen over the canopy and scroging from this point ?
Never done it before , but read of a method from seed, where once the males are removed for certian, they are then put under a screen ?
Any opinions ?

Im thinking about picking up a bottle of this Liquid Light stuff I keep hearing about ....
what do you think ?

I think that I am looking forward to the time lapse photos you'll be posting, showing exactly what happened when you applied Liquid Light. (please)
Your plants are certainly looking better now than at the beginning of this thread. They used to look sad and droopy, not anymore. Keeping your grow in the low 80s and putting the plant in larger pots are two huge steps in the right direction.
A screen will help, no doubt. I use screens and wouldn't want it any other way. Not only do they help to support the branches when they get heavy, but they help to spread out the buds so that light can get to everything instead of just the top of the canopy. Here's my latest screen grow: http://boards.cannabis.com/indoor-gr...-training.html

Do you this I'll need the Penetrator as well, thats another $50 ...??
Your thread is what got me excited about this liquid light stuff. Since I'm almost 2 weeks into flower, how long into flower have you safely applied it ?
And yea Im definatly going to go with the screen this weekend, what do you sugest for screen material ?
Thanks :)

Well I hope it's not too late, but whatever you do, don't use common poultry netting, or chicken wire. I like the fencing or that has 2x3 inch holes much better. Poultry netting has 1x1.5 inch holes, and the buds don't always fit through them. It also has hundreds of little poking wires, ever ready to scratch you.
I know it's expensive, but Penetrator is the key. Some say it's more important than the Liquid Light. I use them at half strength, which seems to be more than plenty, and of course that cuts down on cost.
I've used it as late as week 5 of flowering. Just depends on humidity and stuff. Don't let buds grow around moisture.

well my small little local hydro store dosent carry liquid light :( He said they could order it , but would take a few weeks, by that point Ill be too far into flowering to apply I think ...SORRY OPIE
The screen didnt work out either, I spent half the day yesterday making one with a frame and some gardners twine. I was pretty proud of it
The plants are just far to compact already though, I placed the screen over the garden, and there was just NO room at all ..just to awkward at this stage I think ...
SO after 2 dissapintments, I made a bunch of Hooks and trained the crap out of them last night :) It actually filled in the grow space very well, and I can still manouver around the plants, or remove them for watering/ flushing if I need.

These are the hooks I made, just bamboo squewers with coat hanger hooks taped to the end. They ended up working GREAT for training and controling the plants.
