Bush is seeming more and more like Nixon. I wonder if its because he's going to leave the same kind of legacy.

Let me assure you that someone with a lot of knowledge of survival, night vision, guns & ammo, dragon skin body armour :D and stockpiled food lasts longer than pacifists relying on the good of mankind. I'm not saying that they will be able to fight tanks with rifles but what if the government severely weakens through financial collapse someday? Martial law could take over and the weak are weeded out by marauding groups of hungry and demoralized tribes.

Cancelling the election. :rolleyes: Not going to happen, the elite (Bush is a puppet) are far too smart to throw everything away by angering the American public in such a stupid way.

Predicting the future is hard. I have forseen 3 possibilities: 1. Bush will declare martial law and everything goes to hell. 2. Obama is elected and an assassination attempt either succeeds or fails and sends us down a path towards martial law. 3. Things turn around and get better.... lol yeah right.

If you were to stock up on ammo, might wanna do it soon... if a one-dollar per bullet tax is passed, we won't be able to rely on guns to defend ourselves.

But I don't advocate the collection of dangerous weapons. However, you might have to bury them DEEP in your backyard in sealed containers.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Good luck with your futures.

I know I won't give up my guns. I'm ready to bury them in the back yard just in case worse comes to worse and they go door to door searching houses for firearms. When they're gone I'll dig them back up.

At least I've got an uncle that has the stuff to make up his own bullets, his "special room" is full of guns, ammo, powder, radios, and canned foods. Makes me wonder what else he might be hiding in there..... fun stuff
