I always get a little out of shape in the winter b/c I am not a gym guy, but when the weather is nice I like to bike/hike/climb. The trick I find works is to find something that is exercise but you do for fun. Exercise is just a side effect of hiking all day. Plus, blazing in the woods is far superior to the city.
Don't smoke early in the day lol. I usually like smoking before I hit the gym though, the music really gets to me.
I know smoking is supposed to reduce stress but I sometimes get the reverse effect and it seems to exacerbate stress in my back when i smoke. One of my concerns is if smoking stresses the body after a workout and diminishes results. Especially a cardio, trying to exercise your lungs. I smoked cigarretes and recently quit and would like to get some lung power back.
If you are trying to be kind to your lungs, maybe you should cut back smoking. Start cooking with cannabis or check into a vaporizer. I have no experience with them, but they might be easier on the lungs.
Even if you get in great shape, if you tend to smoke early in the morning, of course it'll linger until you go to sleep. That's why you should save your smoking until when you have little or no responsibility to furfil.Quote:

The buzz sticks with me for most of the day, and by the time i have practice or weights(i do play college football and it is very demanding) it's gone and i can hit one before bed time.
I also, enjoy that buzz before i go to the elementary school, i'm going to be a teacher and 2nd graders are the bomb, the weed just makes more patient and my supervising teacher complemented on how patient i was working with the special ed. kids.
But thats just me, i got a nice schedule down and i do put my sport and my major first before weed, the older i get the better my priorities get and i just got a nice balance.
Some people pop a adderall or ridalin in the morning, i just smoke a bowl, levels me out all day and by afternoon i'm ready to get my work done. Peace.

I actually was never a very good runner till I tried smoking and then running. I don't smoke too much- I think the trick here is not getting "too" stoned.
After I feel a bit stoney I get my music ready and go. It sounds cliche, and saying it sounds cliche sounds cliche, but it really helps me get in this "zone" I've never been able to get into before, and I'm actually getting pretty good at running for the first time in my life.
I go running around sunset- I think that makes a difference for me too.
Smoking actually motivates me to workout. I'm not sure if that has to do with the strain though. I think the strain I smoke is pretty heavy on the sativa side. When I toke it I get energetic and can't even think about sleep for like 5-6 hours. It is like caffeine with a psychedelic twist.
I've heard indica strains give a more "tired" or "couch-lock" sort of high. Do you know what strain you are smoking? My dealer only has one strain, so I'm gonna hopefully grow my own indica this year and what kind of high that gives me.
