Keeping the soil in a high humidity environment is most likely why you're seeing so much moss. Once you lower the humidity, you probably won't see as much of it. I've got a cobblestone walkway in my backyard, and I've used garden lime before to kill off the moss. Worked very well, but I agree with Rhizome that it's likely nothing to worry about... especially if it doesn't seem to be harming the plants.

Very pretty. I tried to keep a terrarium for a while but couldn't keep mosses happy. Lucky you! What's your %RH?

oh probably around 80%. there is very poor ventilation.
This was a last minute "fix" to a problem and seems to have done it's job.
The humidity has dropped however the moss keeps growing.
Pretty, yes, what I like to see, no.
The RH has dropped in the last while and seems to be more stable now.
The growth is great for the CFL's that I have in there. They are kicking the snot out of the T5's.
