Oh, no! Support is slipping!
Using MY tax dollars to blow up, then rebuild bridges in Iraq, when bridges in my own country are falling apart?? Fuck Iraq, they wouldn't lift a finger to help us for one second. This war will never be worth it, not even in a hundred years of continued fighting. Tell the young boys and girls who will never see their mothers or fathers again that it was worth it. Tell the hundreds and possibly thousands of Iraqi citizens whose family members have been mistakenly killed by soldiers because they looked suspicious that it was worth it.
well well well,
i for one feal that the war was not worth it. no matter what kinda leader sadam was be he evil and cruel or an outright murderer there was stability of some sort or nother in the middle east. now we are stuck in a quagmire that we can not leave until somekind of stability is acheived. even if sadam was killing kurds and shi,ite the fact is that iraq had a military that could hold its own against its neighbors and could prvably have held out against any military in the world had they a leader that would have wanted to. i am a veteran of desert storm and it was sadam himself that made that conflict such a cake walk for us. his soldiers were surrendering to us in droves. why? simple if you dont keep your troops supplied they will surrender to the compasianate americans who will feed and cloth them. some of his troops hadnt eatin in days. they were malnourished and had no more will to fight. but had he kept them supplied and theyre moral high we would have had a serios fight on our hands. these guys have been at war for decades and were dug in deeper than " a tick on an alabama coon dogs ass".
now they have no defense and if we up and leave they will be open to invasion from any one of theyre neighbors. and that could have devastating effects on america. so no it was not worth it.
Not really.Quote:

Iraq has no clear enemies as it is impossible to choose one side over the other, I'm not talking America and it's allies against insurgents , I am talking about the fact that the Iraqis have been fighting each other for decades. We have caused instability in a region renowned for it's tribalism.
We supported Saddam when he was fighting Iran .
The cost in allied and Iraqi lives is simply not worth it.
this war was just one more way to put fear into americans who fail to think for themselfs. they need fear to controll us. but they definately take advantage of that. its just one more way the federal reserves use to get more money and screw the rest of us over.
Operation Iraqi Freedom, IMO was worth it and will prove itself as such further down the road... for those of you that say the loss of American lives wasn't worth it I would ask you to put the numbers next to any other previous major war and compare them, I am not trying too make light of the fact that good American Men and Women are dying in Iraq I am just stating that we are in a war in which very few have died when compared to the past.. for those of you that say we need to pull out of Iraq, I ask, should we have pulled out of Berlin after WW2? the answer is NO. If we leave we simply create a void in which extremism will take hold ultimately endangering Israel if not America.. so yes I support McCain's statement that we will be there 100 years if need be.. we have been in Germany for 60+ years and will most likely remain there for another 60.. .
and for the record if the war was about OIL than it wouldn't cost me $75.00 to fill my tank with regular unleaded.....:stoned:
If you run an oil company would you price your product as cheaply as possible or as high as possible ?Quote:

If the war was about oil, it was not necesarily about getting YOU cheap gas.Quote:
