This 30-something woman co-worker of mine was bitching about this. I had already read the article on Reddit and now that the story was in traditional media, I figured I'd let her say her piece without me telling her I had already read. According to said person, the country's going to hell in a handbasket because American girls are little sluts. She went on this tirade about how we're condoning sex before marriage, yada yada. She ended her shpiel with saying that Lord Jesus better hurry up and come. I didn't respond to her (out of shock at how stupid she sounded), but merely nodded and walked away.
The HPV Vaccine only protects against 4 out of hundreds of types of the virus. It's a good start, but no where near a perfect form of prevention.
