Aye, they can be a real pain in the ass when you're surrounded by HPS light and fans are blowing all over the place. By the time I start using one of these, I'm getting pretty damn close to harvest, so I'll usually clip a small piece from the bud in question and take it out of the room, then examine it there. Much easier to focus on the right spots this way. Then, as an added bonus, you get to dry and smoke your experiment when you're done! :jointsmile:Quote:

It's very cool! Wait until you pull a piece off a live plant, and you get to see those stalks when they're freshly formed and haven't degraded any. I always feel like a mad scientist when I do this, then a stoned scientist afterwards... :stoned:Quote:

Muahahaha! I know what you mean man... check out these trich's, I found them on some forum, a guy took them with his cam and I had to save them for future viewing lol (all credit to him!)
